About Dr. Kyle Wilburn
Dr. Kyle Wilburn is a Santa Rosa native, born and raised in Bennett Valley. After graduating from Montgomery High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He then completed a pre-dental post-baccalaureate program at the University of Oregon, graduating with honors and earning a spot on the Dean’s List.
Dr. Kyle went on to attend his top-choice dental school—the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco—where he gained hands-on experience in both clinical care and community outreach. During his training, he volunteered in various dental offices and participated in programs offering free oral health education, screenings, and treatment to children and underserved communities.
Following dental school, Dr. Kyle completed a residency at the Community Health Care Dental Clinic in Tacoma, Washington, where he treated over 2,000 patients. His time there allowed him to refine his skills in preventive, restorative, and surgical dentistry, earning multiple awards and recognition from the residency staff.
A fellow of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (AAIP), Dr. Kyle has completed 84 hours of advanced continuing education in implant surgery, from single-tooth implants to full-arch cases.
Today, Dr. Kyle is proud to work alongside his father, Dr. Steve Wilburn, providing comprehensive family, cosmetic, and implant dentistry to the Santa Rosa community. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), and the Redwood Empire Dental Society (REDS).
Outside the office, Dr. Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife, Liz, and their two-year-old son, Ty. They are avid mountain bikers and love exploring the outdoors—especially on sunny Sonoma County days.

American Dental Association, California Dental Association & the Redwood Empire Dental Society.
