About Dr. Kyle Wilburn
Dr. Kyle Wilburn was born and raised right here in Bennett Valley. A graduate of Montgomery High School, his college education began at the University of Colorado at Boulder where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
Kyle continued his education with a pre dental based post-baccalaureate program and graduated with honors and on the dean’s list at the University of Oregon. He then applied and was accepted to his top choice of dental schools, the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Throughout his educational years, Dr. Kyle spent time volunteering as an assistant for various dental offices and also participated in events that provided free oral health education, screenings, preventive and restorative treatment to children and underprivileged populations.
Kyle continued his dental school experience with a residency at the Community Health Care Dental Clinic in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Kyle was able to fine tune his skills and strengthen his practice while seeing over 2,000 patients at this residency. He received many accolades, awards and acknowledgments by the residency staff while there.
Kyle is a fellow of American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics. He has completed 84 CE hours of didactic and clinical training on patients with emphasis on surgeries ranging from single implants to full arch cases.
Now, back in his hometown, Dr. Kyle is honored to be working alongside his father, Dr. Steve Wilburn, and is excited to be serving the people of Santa Rosa.
In his off-time, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He and his wife Liz enjoy all outdoor activities. They are avid mountain bikers and spend a significant amount of time on two wheels, especially when the days are long and weather nice.
Dr. Kyle Wilburn is an active member in the
American Dental Association, California Dental Association & the Redwood Empire Dental Society.
